Hoboken is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Hoboken is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

5/5 Food, taste, prices, portions. Everything is 5+stars. We ordered Philly cheese steak, chicken burger w/ fries and chicken & lamb on rice and it all tasted so delicious and cooked to the right temperature and so fresh. So glad that our vacation in NJ included eating at this yummy food cart.

I was craving some classic New York-style Halal Guys cart food for dinner on a weekday night, and a quick Google search led me to this gem in Hoboken. The reviews were glowing—and after trying it myself, I can say they were absolutely spot on. There was already a small line (3–4 people) when I got there, which was a good sign. I went for the classic: meat over rice. The beef steak was thinly sliced, perfectly grilled, and packed with smoky, bold flavors. The yellow rice was aromatic and tasty, pairing beautifully with the meat. Another highlight was the freshness of the salad on the side—crisp lettuce, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes—all super fresh and refreshing. Overall, the portion size was huge. I couldn’t even finish it in one sitting. Overall, this place checks all the boxes: affordable, fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area. Highly recommend!

The food is perfectly seasoned and portions are very filling! I had their chicken gyro and loved how flavorful it was! They always put a perfect amount of sauce making the gyro juicy and the salad adds that refreshing touch! Highly recommend for sure! My sister also had the lamb salad and the mixed chicken and lamb with rice and salad and she loved it! Staff is also very friendly and welcoming!

If flavor had a home address, it would be Adam Spicy Halal Food in Hoboken! I stopped by craving something delicious, and they absolutely delivered. The staff was friendly, courteous, and super helpful—they guided me through the menu and made sure I didn’t miss out on the best options. And the service? Fast! I barely had time to check my phone before my food was ready. Chicken over rice with salad: Fresh, flavorful, and packed with just the right amount of spice. The chicken was tender and juicy, perfectly paired with aromatic rice and a crisp, refreshing salad. And the white sauce? Silky, creamy perfection that tied it all together. The portion was huge—enough for lunch and leftovers. Lamb over rice: This one was next-level. The lamb was tender, flavorful, and not greasy at all. Every bite was infused with rich, aromatic spices that had me savoring each forkful. I added a drizzle of their hot sauce, and wow—just the right amount of heat to balance the creamy white sauce. Another generous portion that left me more than satisfied. Falafel: Perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy and flavorful on the inside. Not dry, not too dense—just right. They gave me a good portion, and I cou
